Edward J. Abel is a registered nurse and the founder of Caresultants.
Ed has a natural gift for managing the big-picture vision and fine details of a proactive care plan for someone whose needs are changing. He is deeply committed to helping others ensure that their loved ones are receiving quality care, from the first signs of decline to their final days.
With over 40 years of experience in the medical community, Ed has brought together a team of healthcare providers across a vast spectrum of services to ensure top-quality care and an easier path forward for aging patients and those who love them.
Michelle Darcy, Executive Director
As Executive Director, Michelle Darcy is responsible for creating support and structure for Caresultants. She has spent her entire career in business management, with over ten years in healthcare. Before joining the Caresultants team, Michelle managed a large general practice (GP) in Dublin with over 55,000 patients. She has extensive experience recruiting and managing registered nurses (RNs).
Michelle also serves as a case manager, personally matching caretakers with clients and following up to ensure long-term compatibility. She is extremely passionate about giving back to the elderly by facilitating excellent matches that lead to true friendships.
Nichole has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with over 15 years of experience in acute care and geriatric patient care education. She is responsible for developing our intake assessment methodologies and ensuring that all patient care plans are built around the client’s values and beliefs.
Dr. Lawson is exceptionally passionate about preventive care, better patient education, and other tools for improving the quality of life for the elderly. She firmly believes in the value of families having early, honest conversations about everyone’s wishes for the future.

Jodi Walker, RN, BSN
Jodi, a registered nurse with over 40 years of geriatric care experience, specializes in conducting thorough assessments to facilitate a safe transition from healthcare facilities to home or the most suitable care setting. She addresses patients' medical, physical, and emotional requirements with the overarching goal of enhancing independence and quality of life while minimizing hospital readmissions.
In her role at Caresultants, Jodi is responsible for building client relationships, conducting assessments, and designing comprehensive care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and those of their families. Her true passion lies in advocating for seniors, navigating the intricacies of healthcare on their behalf, and supporting them in maintaining an exceptional quality of life. Jodi's dedicated work empowers older adults and their families, fostering happiness and alleviating stress throughout the aging process.
